Consulting COO engagement for Healthy Roots Dolls, the doll company built on the promise that Black girls could see themselves in a doll's texture, not just its color. As Founding Principal of Be Super Creative, I sourced and managed the manufacturing partnerships behind the line, served as the creative direction liaison between the CEO and manufacturers, and owned intellectual property and product safety compliance, including the liability insurance covering the doll line. The work ran from color science and sculpt approval through mechanical hardware specification, into sample-by-sample wardrobe review across the full product ecosystem: the Zoe doll and its companion "Beautiful" hair care line, the Curl Power Kit, a satin bonnet accessory line sold as a matching mother-daughter set, and an identity-driven wardrobe collection covering doctor, soccer, tennis, karate, and gymnast lines. The line earned national recognition, including a Parents Magazine Best Toys of 2020 feature via Good Morning America, a Forbes editors' pick, a New York Strategist holiday toy feature, and a Bloomberg feature on pandemic-era toy trends.
