For the People Act: Our Civil Rights Requires Our Attention

Civil rights don't defend themselves. Somebody has to make the flyer.
Built the full campaign identity for this one, working as Creative Partner to SistersUnited4Reform and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. on their September 2021 virtual town hall on the For the People Act. Marigold and black, a roster of some of the most decorated women leading Black sororities and civic organizations in the country, and a headline that does the one thing a headline for this topic has to do: stop the scroll.
The design brief was simple to state and hard to execute. Fourteen names, a keynote guest, a QR code, and a registration deadline, all competing for the same six inches of screen real estate, and none of them allowed to lose. Hierarchy is the whole job when the stakes are this real.
Advocacy work doesn't get a version 2.0. It ships once, on time, or the room is empty.
